Anandamurti starts the discourse by saying that true progress is measured in the spiritual perfection of the mind when it moves toward Parama Purusa and merges with Him. This path has four stages: The first stage is when the aspirant makes sincere efforts to reach His goal and to move to the second one must take a firm determination and while getting some control over one propensity or another, its important to fight over weaknesses and imbalance of the mind. On the thirds stagebehaind every action there is a particular sound. The sound "Ta" represents inertness and staticity. The first meaning of the word Tantra  is liberation from the bondage of crudeness and dullness of mind. Anandamurti then explains that the the root verb "Tan" means to expand. The second meaning of Tantra  is liberation through expansion. Thinking of Parama Purusa means thinking about the greatest entity - The Supreme Being. Such an ideation makes the mind broaden. Anandamurti goes on saying that expansion is the goal of human life and the means to release ourselves from bondage. Without Sadhana liberation is an impossibility.
Anandamurti starts the discourse by saying that genuine progress is determined by the psychic and spiritual effort one makes on the path toward perfection. Anandamurti then explains the four stages of progress: In the first stage a person tries to make sincere efforts to attain the goal. Followed by a second stage, in which one's determination helps them to attain some degree of control over their propensities. On the third stage, a persons gains full control over one tendency and on the last stage all propensities are brought under one's full control. At this stage, one is able to know everything by sending their mind to a particular point in time or place. At this stage it's vital to surrender the ego to Parama Purusa so as to degeneration. Anandamurti goes on saying that this is how human beings advanced in the past and will advance in the future.

Synopsis

What is the nature of the sádhaná of human beings? The bondages and mental limitations that afflict human beings exist not in the external sphere, but in the internal sphere. One whose mind is very narrow is a mean-minded person, whereas one whose mind is broad is a great person. Sádhaná broadens and enlarges the mind. How? It is the innate characteristic of the human mind to become as it thinks – Yádrshii bhávaná yasya siddhirbhavati tádrshii [“As you think, so you become.”] To associate oneself with Parama Puruśa, the Supreme Entity, is the actual sádhaná. There is no one greater than Parama Puruśa, and so, when the mind ideates on Him, it expands.

Shrii Shrii Anandamurti

Anandamurti goes on saying that this is how human beings advanced in the past and will advance in the future.[1]
