Everybody Obeys Him is a discourse given by Shrii Shrii Anandamurti on 1978 October 16 in Patna, India. This discourse is the fourteenth chapter of Ananda Vacanamrtam Part 3.[1]

Synopsis

Now what happens when a person sees some unnatural picture or unnatural image or unnatural being? One possibility I have already explained – it may be that a Tantric, with the help of his or her ectoplasmic structure, has created a body for a disembodied mind just to terrorize others. A Vidyá Tantric will not do these things, but an Avidyá Tantric may do so just to terrorize others, as they used to do in the past. After getting some money they would stop the practice.

Shrii Shrii Anandamurti

Anandamurti starts the discourse by saying that after death the physical body remains in the earth while the mind leaves the body and moves in the universe until it finds a suitable body, in accordance with one's reactive momenta (samskara). Anandamurti then explains that the stories we hear of haunted houses, ghosts, objects moving in the air and so on are actually an Avidya Tantric who creates an ectoplasmic body attached to the disembodied mind and thus makes these ghost like movement. Anandamurti goes on explaining about different types of devayonis (Spiritual practitioners with some unquenched hidden desire who give up their solid and aquatic structures after death, but the luminous, aerial and ethereal factors remain with their detached mind).[1]
