What Do You Want? is a discourse given by Shrii Shrii Anandamurti. This discourse is the nineteenth chapter of Ananda Vacanamrtam Part 1.[1]

Synopsis

In this discourse Anandamurti says that logicians' opinions and explanations differ. Some say that this is right. Others say that it is not right. For this reason a person should follow to her or his own ideas.[1]

Nindantu niitinpuńáh yadi vá stuvantu
Lakśmii samávishatu grhaḿ gacchatu vá yatheśt́am;
Adyaeva marańamastu yugántare vá

Nyáyát pathah praticalanti na dhiiráh.

Scriptures also suggest a person to stick to her or his own ideas.

According to Anandamurti, one should pray like this to Parama Purusa[1]

O Lord, I want your blessings so that my intellect may move along the right path.

At the end of discourse Anandamurti discusses Gáyatrii chanda of the Vedas.[1]
